Miracle Cleanser: Murad Age Reform's AHA/BHA Exfoliating Cleanser

I returned home from Total Beauty's LA Beauty Tour loaded down with product. I became a bit overzealous in my attempt to test and sample so much glorious product all at once. My face revolted. Two of the largest zits this side of fifteen erupted. Oh Jesus. Did I have a bad reaction to one product or some combination of the twenty? I almost lost my mind. Too much product and no where to start.

Luckily, my dear friend Tammy shipped the Murad product I accidentally left behind with her stash and it saved the day, or in this case, the face. I read the words "exfoliating cleanser" on the first bottle I ravenously broke out of the package and I began to use the cleanser night and day. The zits were zapped in two days and a week or so later my skin feels brighter and smoother than it has in years. I'm guessing the speedy results are the reason allure featured this cleanser in their Bride Magazine. I had to figure out how this product produced results so fast and in the process of investigating I gathered some excellent information on Glycolic Acid. Here is the expert lowdown on the AHA in this phenomenal cleanser which despite its powers of zit-zapping is actually intended as an anti-aging product.

"Glycolic Acid is an AHA. AHAs are a family of acidic exfoliants derived from fruit and milk sugars. Glycolic Acid (produced from sugar cane) is the most effective AHA for lifting away dead surface cells. What's more, once inside the cell walls of the new skin layer, it can trigger the formation of collagen to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and resolve other flaws." (Melissa A.
